Shooting sports offer a focused way to improve your skills and accuracy. Many people find shooting both exhilarating and relaxing and a great way to spend time outdoors with friends or family. For beginners, we have shooting lessons available through our instructors, both private and group options. We also have shotgun and gear rentals for those just beginning the sport, as well as ammunition.

Skeet Shooting

Many hunters and sport shooters use skeet shooting to help improve their accuracy. Two clay targets are flung from opposing positions in front of the shooting station, challenging each shooter to hit both targets in quick succession.

Trap Shooting Course

With trap shooting, only one clay target is used, traveling about 40 MPH away from the shooting station. This type of shooting may seem simpler, but it takes practice and skill to hit every one of the 25 shots per round. This can be a great place to improve your skills before you start sporting clays or five-stand, which require a higher level of precision and quicker reaction times.

Our sporting clays and five-stand courses are a favorite at EVSC. With sporting clays, you get a chance to move around our course, with up to 14 stands and varying degrees of difficulty on target patterns. Five-stand offers a similar challenge in targets but is contained in a smaller area for an abbreviated round.

If you live in Toccoa, you are just a hop, skip and a jump from our facility. Contact Etowah Valley Sporting Clays today for a day of sport shooting. No reservations are needed for individuals and small groups.
